AGAINST ME! - REINVENTING AXL ROSE LP
Debut album by the Gainesville, Florida punk rock band Against Me!,
released in March 2002 by No Idea Records. It was the group's first
release as a full band with electric guitars, bass guitar, and drums.
$20.00
BANNER PILOT - PASS THE POISON 12"
Banner Pilot is a punk rock band from Minneapolis. What do they sound
like? Well, imagine if Jawbreaker and the Lawrence Arms and Alkaline
Trio all got in a knife fight and Jawbreaker won, but just barely.
That's what they sound like. This is a single sided 12" of their
first gem of a record. $20.00 OUR PICK!!
BANNER PILOT - COLLAPSER LP Twelve
captivating tracks that will rattle the fillings from your teeth,
Collapser maintains a nearly impossible balance between unbridled
youthful energy and maturely crafted unforgettable melodies. With
nimble baselines, thriving guitars, pummeling rhythms and gruff alcohol
and cigarette laced vocals, Collapser exudes the passion of true punk
rock. Along with rousing music, honest lyrics immediately ingratiate
the listener with the lamentations and revelations of everyday life,
making this album quintessential for any punk fan. Banner Pilot is
the latest member to join the Fat Wreck Chords family. $20.00
BRIDGE & TUNNEL - EAST/WEST LP
The band went with a vintage, mesquite style of recording "East/West",
stepping aside from the louder / larger / heavier / crunchier approach
of the day and opting for a warmer, more organic, reverb-laden sound.
The ghosts are in the mix. It seems oddly appropriate that the album
was recorded after-hours in an active funeral home. $20.00
DEAR LANDLORD - DREAM HOMES LP Have
you ever held a conch shell up to your ear so you can hear the ocean’s
quiet roar? This Dear Landlord record is kinda like that,
but instead you’ve woken up bleary-eyed on a dirty couch, stumbled
out the front door into the brightly burning 2PM sun, found an empty
40 oz bottle laying in the dirt and held it up to your ear. The echoes
of last night’s blackout pour forth and suddenly foggy memories
snap sharply into focus. Pangs of regret stab you in the gut like
a knife to the back and you start to wonder where it all went wrong.
Dear Landlord are here to remind you. Bordering on super-group
status with members of Illinois power-pop masterminds The Copyrights
and Minneapolis Weasel-worshippers Rivethead, they carry
the torch high, burning brightest when they step to the mic together
for anthemic choruses cut by snotty leads and broken wrists flying
at breakneck speeds. Sign up and cast off, because if you’re
holding this in your hands you’re probably as fucked as them.
You just don’t know it yet. $20.00

DEFIANCE, OHIO - SHARE WHAT YA GOT LP
This is a repress of their first record from the fine folks
at No Idea Records. Political punk with country influences, violin,
cello, banjo and upright bass. $20.00 OUR
PICK!!

THE ERGS - THAT'S IT... BYE 12"
More than a few fans were upset upon hearing the news that
The Ergs had officially called it quits, which is why everyone should
be happy the band graced the masses with one last goodbye before fading
off into the punk rock sunset. That’s it… Bye
is a collection of the last three original songs the New Jersey trio
wrote before pulling the plug—and disappoint they did not. $20.00

GOOD LUCK - INTO LAKE GRIFFY LP
Good Luck are friends who knew each other from playing in
past musical projects like Matty Pop Chart, One Reason, Abe Froman,
and Mt. Gigantic. They used to live in Mississippi, Kentucky, and
Michigan before something drew them all to Bloomington. $20.00

LEMURIA - GET BETTER LP Lemuria hail
from Buffalo, NY and they're an amazing band. The real deal. Punk
ethics, great songs, nice people, and yup... That should be good enough
these days right? Well, after releasing several EPs and splits (The
Ergs!, Kind of Like Spitting, Frame) this will be their first full
length. $25.00 OUR PICK!!

LEMURIA - THE FIRST COLLECTION LP
A collection of almost everything they've recorded so far. Their songs
from the splits with Kind Of Like Spitting and Fame, the s/t ep, their
7" from the Art Of The Underground singles series and 2 songs
from the New York vs New Jersey comp. $25.00 OUR
PICK!!

MAX LEVINE ENSEMBLE - OK SMARTYPANTS LP
This is the first full length release by D.C.'s power pop punk group.
14 tracks of intense, youthful and catchy punk rock that will make
you think as well as dance. $20.00

MONIKERS - WAKE UP LP Featuring a
member of the long-defunct Florida legends Discount, people tend to
say Monikers “Wake Up” sounds like Jawbreaker, Leatherface,
and a bunch of other 90's pop punk bands. What they don't know is
that Monikers are probably the best band in the whole world right
now. Monikers first full length record “Wake Up” is the
product of years of slacking off, years of avoiding practice, and
years of playing shows far too drunk for their own good, if they even
show up at all. Still, somehow Monikers managed to get the songs down
and record an album through minimal effort ready to bring their brand
of gruff pop punk to the masses. “Wake Up” should be a
welcome addition to the present state of music. It's pretty good too.
$20.00

PAUL BARIBEAU - GRAND LEDGE 10"
aul Baribeau’s warm, witty sounds and gnarly beard bring something
truly unique and interesting to the folk-punk table. With such well-known
friends as Matty Pop Chart and Kimya Dawson, the South Central Michigan
native collaborates often, but has two of his own beautiful solo records
out on Plan-It-X. This is one of those beautiful records. $15.00

PINK RAZORS - LEAVE ALIVE LP In the
wake of great change for punk-pop purveyors Pink Razors, their second
LP "Leave Alive" reflects the band's transformations. The
band's penchant for hooks, crunch, and speed remain intact here but
are given more room to breathe, resulting in longer, more developed
pop constructions that explore different tempos. Joined by Erin Tobey
on guitar/vox. $20.00 OUR PICK!!

THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB - DANCE PARTY WITH
10" This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is a folk-punk band from
Pensacola, Florida, USA in 1996. Their first recording was released
in 1997 on Ghostmeat Records. Their later releases have been on Plan
It X Records and No Idea Records. This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is rumored
to have initially started as (or at least intended, but failed to
start as) a tongue-in-cheek country band, but their punk rock roots
were evident enough in their music that they became one of the premiere
bands at the forefront of the folk punk genre. They have done several
US tours, played at Geekfest, and have been to Europe. $15.00

THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB - FRONT SEAT SOLIDARITY
LP This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is home to some of the most spirited
songwriting and performances out there today. The Pensacola, FL trio
takes its punk-rock folk around the country regularly and has contributed
to many Ghostmeat compilations. "Front Seat Solidarity"
is their 2nd full length release and it's really great. Terry sings
lead on one song and the whole band is really perfect. 14 songs that
will make you smile and dance like a idiot. Folk punk at it's finest.
$20.00
BRUCE SPRINGSTZINE #1 by Mike Saturday Lecky - "Weekend
In The Void" takes place in Toronto, on Canzine weekend last
October. I flew in from Vancouver, and had exactly 36 hours from touchdown
to takeoff again. What follows is a detailed report on that day and
a half of sleep deprivation, self-abuse and small pressery. Sometimes
vague and deranged, sometimes lucidly hung over, this is an honest
report, complete with hand written field notes, of what happens when
a writer and a publisher attempt to stay up for 36 hours, fueled mainly
on energy drinks, little orange pills, and pharmaceutical grade tequila.
