In
late 2005, I wandered into the Underground Cafe(RIP) in Fredericton
and heard a ukulele as I entered the room. Andrew Sisk was the
one strumming away and it was interesting enough that I picked
up a copy of "Ukulele Tragic" to listen to on my walk
home. The track "Soil" had me pretty hooked so I kept
my eye out for other Share performances while I lived in Fredericton.
More
recently, Share has evolved into a full band with members from
Olympic Symphonium and Grand Theft Bus. With new members comes
a new album and the follow-up to 2007's "Pedestrian"
is finally coming out on August 4th! This fangirl is rejoicing.
During
my Evolve weekend, Andrew was flying solo and I was not disappointed.
Although he had the first slot of the day on Saturday, he still
drew lots of people to the stage with his one man show. The songs
were lovely, as was my company.
