1. Please introduce TGTGG and give a brief history of the band.
If I did this interview three months ago like i was supposed to, my answers would have been quite different. I would have repeated what is written in our bio, but now I think TGTGG has turned a page. It's still chi chi, vanderlaan, dann, myself, the TGTGG strictly east coast players, leon, and le tgtgg de montreal.

2. How would you describe your music to someone that has yet to hear it?
Incisor rock.

3. What does The Got To Get Got mean to you?
Everything. It's free and liberating in many ways. If I want to write a song that sounds like Unrest that's cool.

4. The band has been described as a franchise rather than a traditional band, was the decision to be a coast to coast band a conscious one?
We'd all rather be making music for a living but at some point you just need that Sony 37" Bravia LCD TV. The word career is a necessary evil, but I'm happy to call tours "vacations" now.

5. Being spread out throughout the country, what is it that drives you to play music together as TGTGG?
We're friends and there's no pressure to make it big. Everyone involved in TGTGG is absolutely amazing and I've benefitted greatly from this experience so there's no reason to stop.

6. What's your ideal show situation?
Sappyfest 2007

7. What is your musical background?
I listened to Kiss until I was 6 and then Duran Duran got me. After that there was a lot of Reign In Blood/South of Heaven tapes and through skateboarding I discovered SST Records. It all seems very natural to me; Black Flag to mInutemen to sonic youth to dinosaur to sebadoh to pavement to my bloody valentine to swirlies to silver jews to smog to the black crowes.

8. When do you think the best time and situation to listen to a TGTGG record is?
I think the EP we put out is a bit disjointed in the best way possible. it's not our record "record" and it's over pretty quick, but i bet you could shower and brush your teeth in the time it takes to listen to it.

9. What is your favourite dance party song?
Ramones - Rockaway Beach, Billy Idol- Dancing With Myself, 3 6 Mafia - Poppin My Collar

10. The end of civilization will be caused by:
Silence.

11. What's up next for the band?
I'm going to start making the TGTGG record in January with my friend Leon and just build the damn thing piece by piece like a house. I wouldn't be surprised if over 40 people play on this record and I won't be surprised if 4 people play on it. We'll see.

12. How can people contact you?
gottogetgot@gmail.com

13. Final words?
Thanks Matt.
