Drive
to the Coast:
Fuck The Facts August 26.10 JUNNNKtank.com contributor Aimee Power is back at it with another edition of Drive to the Coast! This time around Aimee checked out the always fun Fuck The Facts from Baba's Lounge in downtown Charlottetown. "I'll be honest and say that I listen to very little heavy music. I veer towards the sweet and poppy most days. But I've been seeing Fuck the Facts since I was a teenager and felt the need for some sweaty nostalgia. There was a decent crowd for a Monday night in Charlottetown and everyone wanted to get messy. The show was loud and crazy and the pregnant lead singer kicked more ass than anyone. I walked home with some ringing ears but it was all worth it." CLICK HERE TO ROLL DOWN THE WINDOW AND DRIVE TO THE COAST Rad:
This Is What We Live For

#1 + Q&A July 20.10 Ivurinformation #1 is a loveable rough and tumble piece of work made by Stephan MacLeod (Windom Earle Fame) back in '97. This is zine really packs a punch! I recently asked Stephan a few questions about the zine: "I think I was compelled by the idea of using a photocopier and making something that resembled my favourite magazines. The idea that I could produce a physical product was almost more exciting than the content. It was liberating to feel like I was accomplishing something on very small scale - troubleshooting how the layout will work, and teaching myself very basic design. But I would never consider myself a true zine maker. I only made three." CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT THE ZINE & READ THE Q&A WITH THE AUTHOR AND CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT THE NEW AND IMPROVED ZINE ARCHIVE!
