AGAINST ME! - REINVENTING AXL ROSE LP

released in March 2002 by No Idea Records. It was the group's first
release as a full band with electric guitars, bass guitar, and drums.

AMERICAN FOOTBALL - SELF TITLED LP
Considering the incredible appeal of American Football's debut single
with Polyvinyl, it was quite easy to expect great things from their
first album -- tracks like "The One with the Tambourine"
took Mike Kinsella far beyond his emo roots, into beautiful territory
that had more in common with Red House Painters than Cap'n Jazz. American
Football, the group's album debut, may not hit quite the same heights,
but it comes close enough that no one should be bothered; Mike Kinsella
treads the same brightly arpeggiated post-emo (to coin a phrase) territory
his brother Tim Kinsella does with Joan of Arc (albeit without the
abstraction). The obvious progression from the Polyvinyl single comes
in the form of horns and Wurlizter dabbed tastefully onto a few tracks;
when the band picks up into more conventionally driving territory
("Honestly?"), things are still appealing -- but Kinsella's
main strength seems to be in drifting, floating waves of melody, and
American Football makes good on this in a pretty impressive way. $10.00

BRIDGE & TUNNEL - EAST/WEST LP
The band went with a vintage, mesquite style of recording "East/West",
stepping aside from the louder / larger / heavier / crunchier approach
of the day and opting for a warmer, more organic, reverb-laden sound.
The ghosts are in the mix. It seems oddly appropriate that the album
was recorded after-hours in an active funeral home. $10.00

CHUCK RAGAN - LOS FELIZ LP Recorded
on February 19, 2007 in Los Feliz, California, Los Feliz captures
a very spontaneous performance of songs in a setting that isn’t
contrived or overly scrutinized. “We set up the show and played
it a week later,” Ragan explains about the impromptu performance,
which spans everything from traditional songs to a HWM track to previously
unreleased solo material and even a few covers. “A lot of good
friends came out and played and a lot of people showed up and showed
their support,” he continues, “it was nothing but good
fun.. $10.00 On Sale

CINEMA EYE - A COMPLETE ARSENAL LP
This Columbus, Ohio quartet takes the best of 80’s new wave
and combines it with hints of classic hair-metal to create the dynamic
tempo fluctuations, irresistibly danceable harmonies, and crunching
guitar bends that characterize this record. Synth-based, melody driven
bass lines and catchy modulated keyboards swarm beneath the surface
of fierce, grating guitars and drums, brought together by the powerfully
evocative female vocals. This is The Cinema Eye's follow up to their
split 10"/cd with Audion that was released on Sound Virus in
early 2003. This recording is still filled with hooks but makes more
of an attempt to possibly merging the worlds of such bands like Sleater
Kinney with Milemarker or Camera Obscura, making The Cinema Eye's
sound relentless rock and roll as told by Missing Persons. $10.00

THE DEAD HATE THE LIVING - SHOCK & AWE
LP The debut full length and awesome followup to their "Take
that, world!" 7" ep on Limbless Records. Female/male/male
vocalled speedpicking all out thrash attack. 12 new songs that sound
like they could have been released in the '80s if not for their modern
approach to a classic sound. A fast, heavy and aggressive hardcore
record that doesn't lose sight of melody. $10.00

DEAR LANDLORD - DREAM HOMES LP Have
you ever held a conch shell up to your ear so you can hear the ocean’s
quiet roar? This Dear Landlord record is kinda like that,
but instead you’ve woken up bleary-eyed on a dirty couch, stumbled
out the front door into the brightly burning 2PM sun, found an empty
40 oz bottle laying in the dirt and held it up to your ear. The echoes
of last night’s blackout pour forth and suddenly foggy memories
snap sharply into focus. Pangs of regret stab you in the gut like
a knife to the back and you start to wonder where it all went wrong.
Dear Landlord are here to remind you. Bordering on super-group
status with members of Illinois power-pop masterminds The Copyrights
and Minneapolis Weasel-worshippers Rivethead, they carry
the torch high, burning brightest when they step to the mic together
for anthemic choruses cut by snotty leads and broken wrists flying
at breakneck speeds. Sign up and cast off, because if you’re
holding this in your hands you’re probably as fucked as them.
You just don’t know it yet. $10.00

DEFIANCE, OHIO - SHARE WHAT YA GOT LP

at No Idea Records. Political punk with country influences, violin,
cello, banjo and upright bass. $10.00

ERIN TOBEY LP "If I were to describe
Erin's music like a white coat wearing professor of musicology, I
would say that the she creates songs that are sometimes beautiful,
shy and fragile, and at other times are self-assured, powerful declarations
on what it is to be alive. Erin does a great job conveying the emotion
of love through well thought lyrics, and sparse, almost ghostly instrumentation.
For the most part, the recording is just a space-echoed voice, and
a cleanly fingerpicked Danelectro guitar. But Erin adds many subtle
touches like air organs, ukeleles, and the occasional sound of a distant,
marching snare drum. Also, Rich Diem of Twelve Hour Turn plays slide
guitar, and contributes a little singing to the album. People might
know of Erin from her other bands, Abe Froman and Mt. Gigantic, or
perhaps from Here It Is zine. She is a very talented person in art,
music, and in life. I wish the best for Erin, and I hope that everyone
loves this album as much as I do." --Lenny Rutland (Bakery Outlet
Records). $10.00 On Sale

THE EVENS LP The Evens are a band
from Washington, D.C. Ian MacKaye (Fugazi) plays baritone guitar and
Amy Farina (The Warmers) plays drums. They both sing. This is their
debut album and it was recorded at Inner Ear Studios in the summer
of 2004. $10.00 On Sale

GHOST MICE / ANDREW JACKSON JIHAD - SPLIT
LP Ghost Mice are a two piece acoustic folk punk band playing
songs about everything from liberation and freedom to pizza, bikes,
and traveling. The music is simple, political, and impossible to avoid
singing along to. Andrew Jackson Jihad are mammals who perform music.
At their core they consist of two members, Sean Bonnette (acoustic
guitar) and Ben Gallaty (upright bass), though they often employ other
vertebrates in order to enhance their live shows and recordings. Some
of their music can be described as "sad songs sung happily,"
and okay fine, folk-punk. $10.00 On

GOOD LUCK - INTO LAKE GRIFFY LP
Good Luck are friends who knew each other from playing in

and Mt. Gigantic. They used to live in Mississippi, Kentucky, and
Michigan before something drew them all to Bloomington. $10.00

IRON AGE - THE SLEEPING EYE LP Austin,
Texas’ Iron Age have been slugging it out in hardcore and punk
circles since the middle of the decade, touring with such contemporary
hardcore luminaries as Rise And Fall and ***ed Up, while steadily
honing the riffed-out hardcore sound established on their 2006 debut
Constant Struggle. With The Sleeping Eye, Iron Age remains a modern
torchbearer for the long tradition established by the crossover classics
but twists the NYHC-inspired thrash of their debut to create something
bigger and darker, enhancing the violence of their former efforts
with mammoth Lovecraftian atmopshere. $10.00

KYLESA - TIME WILL FUSE ITS WORTH LP
Since this Savannah, Georgia, quintet first formed in early
2001, worrying about genre limitations has never been a priority.
Taking musical chances, however, always has been. While Kylesa are
as heavy as any band out there, they are beholden to no one scene,
punk, hardcore, metal, stoner rock, crust, or otherwise. Kylesa ranges
far and wide, using their utter disregard of musical boundaries to
bring together avant-garde experimentalism with the pure fury of dirty,
sludgy riffs and raw, impassioned male and female vocals. There is
a relentless intensity to their music, from the ambient noise interludes
that sometimes link songs to the doom-inspired punishment they are
capable of dishing out with dual drop-tuned guitars. Gatefold. $10.00

LATTERMAN - WE ARE STILL ARLIVE LP
"If we've ran a million miles to get to this place,
we'll keep the pace" sings Latterman as We Are Still Alive begins...We
Are Still Alive will strike a resounding chord with the legions of
fans who recognize Latterman's dedication to building something real.
"If you think punk's dead / you haven't met our friends / they're
always at it again and again" sings Latterman, reaffirming their
hope about punk rock and the community it has the power to create.
It's this search for a "home where we won't die alone,"
whether it lie in our hearts, in our hands or within our friends,
that's the main theme on Latterman's third record. They "never
want to sing these songs alone"...and with all the spirited anthems,
thought provoking lyrics and fist-pumping choruses on We Are Still
Alive, Latterman doesn't have a thing to worry about. Bands like this
don't exist anymore...so wake up, pay attention and feel alive. Cause
when they're done, I'm done too. $10.00

MASS MOVEMENT OF THE MOTH / THE CATALYST LP
An eleven song, collaborative split of apocalyptic proportions
from two of DC/VA's most fierce and twisted young bands. Mass Movement
Of The Moth returns with blast after contagious blast of synth-driven,
psychedelic post-hardcore, while The Catalyst sludge through their
latest offering of kerosene-soaked, in-your-face noise-punk/grunge.
Song order switches from band to band, allowing no side A or side
B to keep the collective rock apart. Limited edition LP features blasphemous,
full color artwork, gatefold packaging, and colored vinyl. For fans
of Born Against, PG 99, Camera Obscura, Melt Banana, Etc.. $10.00

MONIKERS - WAKE UP LP Featuring a
member of the long-defunct Florida legends Discount, people tend to
say Monikers “Wake Up” sounds like Jawbreaker, Leatherface,
and a bunch of other 90's pop punk bands. What they don't know is
that Monikers are probably the best band in the whole world right
now. Monikers first full length record “Wake Up” is the
product of years of slacking off, years of avoiding practice, and
years of playing shows far too drunk for their own good, if they even
show up at all. Still, somehow Monikers managed to get the songs down
and record an album through minimal effort ready to bring their brand
of gruff pop punk to the masses. “Wake Up” should be a
welcome addition to the present state of music. It's pretty good too.
$10.00 On Sale

OUTBREAK - SELF TITLED LP While only
the band’s second full length effort to date, among Outbreak’s
discography is several other splits, EPs, and singles, notably a split
with Only Crime and two releases via hardcore/punk mainstay Bridge
9 Records. Trustkill Records is handling distribution duties, and
despite being connected to the Universal Music Group, the band proudly
states that they have complete control of their new album. Outbreak's
self titled debut is a direct statement. A testament to the fact that
the band is still going strong. Crafted to silence anyone who questioned
the band’s future.. $10.00 On

PAUL BARIBEAU - GRAND LEDGE 10"
aul Baribeau’s warm, witty sounds and gnarly beard bring something
truly unique and interesting to the folk-punk table. With such well-known
friends as Matty Pop Chart and Kimya Dawson, the South Central Michigan
native collaborates often, but has two of his own beautiful solo records
out on Plan-It-X. This is one of those beautiful records. $10.00

PINK RAZORS - LEAVE ALIVE LP In the
wake of great change for punk-pop purveyors Pink Razors, their second
LP "Leave Alive" reflects the band's transformations. The
band's penchant for hooks, crunch, and speed remain intact here but
are given more room to breathe, resulting in longer, more developed
pop constructions that explore different tempos. Joined by Erin Tobey
on guitar/vox. $10.00 On Sale

PLAY GUITAR - YOU'RE AN OUTLINE 7"
Two amazing slices of quirky pop perfection from the prolific
mind of Christian Simmons (Burdocks, Hold, Attack Mode etc.). Play
Guitar continues the skewed pop sensibilities of the Burdocks with
a healthy dose of post-rock just to keep you on your toes. The single
comes on hazy clear vinyl. *Not Actual Album Art. $5.00

RINGERS - CURSES LP Boston based Ringers
play some of the most direct, driving, anthemic, honest and heartfelt
punk, devoid of pretense and eyeliner, that you're likely to hear
this year. They'd hate to know I said that but it's true. Ringers
is everything I look for in a band, poignant lyrics you can identify
with, rough hewn melodies that move you, and an amazing live show
to bring it all together. Fans of bands like Against Me!, Hot Water
Music, Kid Dynamite and Dillinger Four should definitely take notice.
Features former members of The Insurgent, Speakeasy and Melee. $10.00

SAVES THE DAY - STAY WHAT YOU ARE LP
This record showcases Saves The Day's most varied material to date
while at the same time continuing in the tradition of the band's known
ability to create direct hitting, pop-fueled music. It is fair to
say that fans of this genre, the band or punk rock in general will
never be the same again. $10.00 On Sale

THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB - DANCE PARTY WITH
10" This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is a folk-punk band from
Pensacola, Florida, USA in 1996. Their first recording was released
in 1997 on Ghostmeat Records. Their later releases have been on Plan
It X Records and No Idea Records. This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is rumored
to have initially started as (or at least intended, but failed to
start as) a tongue-in-cheek country band, but their punk rock roots
were evident enough in their music that they became one of the premiere
bands at the forefront of the folk punk genre. They have done several
US tours, played at Geekfest, and have been to Europe. $10.00

THIS BIKE IS A PIPE BOMB - FRONT SEAT SOLIDARITY
LP This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb is home to some of the most spirited
songwriting and performances out there today. The Pensacola, FL trio
takes its punk-rock folk around the country regularly and has contributed
to many Ghostmeat compilations. "Front Seat Solidarity"
is their 2nd full length release and it's really great. Terry sings
lead on one song and the whole band is really perfect. 14 songs that
will make you smile and dance like a idiot. Folk punk at it's finest.

YIP YIP - PRO TWELVE THINKER LP
Banned from Canada for one year Yip-Yip is Brian Esser and
Jason Temple, two 25 year-old "writhing costumed beanpoles"
from Orlando, Florida. They have been making music together since
they formed in 2001. They have also been roommates for much of this
time, annoying neighbors in apartments until moving into "The
Reptile House" in 2004. The house provides Yip-Yip with the space
they need to continue making all of their music, recordings, art,
etc). Check out this noisy glitchy record. $10.00
