Burning
Alive with Think About Life April 14.07

Think
About Life and Clyffs treated a large crowd of indie poppers to
the new sounds of Montreal on the night of April 14th, 2007 at
Back Alley Music. The show was one of the first bigs ones I had
put on at the independent record store; it would not be the last.
The
most memorable moment of the evening came during the middle of
Think About Life's set; it was a moment no one would soon forget.
As the swaying reached extremes and the busy bodies began to proceed
to all out dance moves Martin held his set list in one hand, and
asked someone for a lighter. Within moments the paper was up in
flames, licking the low ceiling as the chords rung out. Just when
we thought the ceiling would catch fire. promising us all to an
early death the flame fell to the floor and was quickly stomped
out.
The
crowd let out a collective sigh and tapped their shoes, swung
their hips, and clapped their hands with youthful abandon glad
to be alive.
